  First, the importance of automatic welding positioning

  Second, the commonly used automatic welding positioning method

  1. Mechanical positioning

  3. Laser sensor method

  This method uses laser measurement technology to locate the welding position. By installing the laser sensor on the welding workpiece and using the corresponding software to process and analyze the laser signal, the precise measurement and positioning of the welding position can be realized. Laser sensor method has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, fast speed, and suitable for complex shape workpieces, but the cost is high and the equipment installation is relatively complicated.

  4. Arc tracking

  Arc tracking calculates the offset between the weld and the programming by touching the two faces of the base metal, and then adjusts the position of the welding gun through the corresponding algorithm or mechanism to achieve accurate welding.

  There are many ways to locate the welding position in automatic welding, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
